Developed for the special requirements of today's construction industry, the material is characterized by its first-class processing qualities. Due to its long service life, lack of maintenance and aesthetic attributes, RHEINZINK has made a name for itself as a construction material with a future. RHEINZINK is available as a prePATINA bright rolled, prePATINA blue-grey or prePATINA graphite-grey material.

RHEINZINK – The Company
RHEINZINK was founded by the Grillo, Stolberger Zinc companies together with Vereinigte Deutsche Metallwerke in 1966. Today it belongs to the Grillo Group and has a workforce of over 800 people. RHEINZINK boasts an international presence, with subsidiaries and sales branches in 30 different countries on five continents.
For over 40 years the RHEINZINK Group has manufactured top-grade titanium zinc at its Datteln site. The material is available in four product lines (PATINA LINE – PROTECT LINE – COLOR LINE – INTERIEUR LINE) – from the finish which forms naturally over time to the coloured version.

RHEINZINK – A Model for Sustainability
With a service life of several generations, roof coverings, facade cladding, roof drainage and architectural
details made of RHEINZINK sets the benchmark in this sector. It requires absolutely no care or maintenance and can be recycled 100 %. Following detailed evaluation of its entire life cycle, this material was declared an environmentally compatible building product by Germany's Institute Construction and Environment (IBU) e.V. many years ago.

Besides its Environmental Compatibility (as per ISO 14025 type III), this ecological material has also been certified as screening out electromagnetic radiation (German society IGEF). Attestation has been awarded to RHEINZINK in the framework of continuous voluntary independent inspections, documenting its outstanding environmental management system as per ISO 14001:2004 and a quality management system complying with ISO 9001:2008.
